Lu Ban, the legendary peasant architect, whose three 'auspicious charms' inspired the Tung Sing logo. Lu Ban's prodigious building talents were known throughout China, and led to him becoming the patron saint of carpenters and woodworkers
 


Cassia Leaf (Scholarly Success) The Cassia leaf, symbol of scholarly success, and the first of Lu Ban's charms to appear as a woodcut illustration in Tung Sing's logo

Boat (Great Riches) The boat is the second of the three traditional illustrations featured in the Tung Sing logo. According to Lu Ban's Secret Chart, hiding a boat (with the bow pointing inwards) in the eaves of a new house brought great riches

Pine Bough (Long Life) Long Life: assured by the use of a pine bough, which forms the final illustration in Tung Sing's logo
