Have your say on strategic and operational issues.  This group acts as a ‘sounding board’ for new proposals, and also approves new policies and practices which affect residents. Residents on this group have access to training to develop their skills, and help them on their way to becoming a future Board Member

As a member of this group, you will represent sheltered scheme residents and floating support service users.  You will have the opportunity to give your views on Tung Sing’s management and the services we provide, and help us tailor and improve these services. You will also help to organise social and community events, and activities and training, to improve community spirit and encourage others to get involved

As a member of the Youth Forum, you can have your say on local issues and what you think will benefit your community. As well as making changes happen, you will learn skills such as how to chair a meeting and take minutes. Even if you are not sure, just give it a try – we will provide you all the training you need, and its good for your CV too, you know!  You can set your own agenda, decide when and where to meet – have it your way! The forum is open to young people aged between 16 and 25
