Tung Sing is one of 8 Social Landlords who have joined forces with Blue Sky + Groundwork to establish a new way of providing environmental improvement services across Cheetham Hill, North Manchester, whilst helping ex offenders into work.
The new team - the Cheetham Hill Environmental Team (CHET) - operates with 2 aims:
- To provide an environmental improvement service tackling issues that impact on residents that are not picked up by mainstream services
- To support unemployed ex offenders to secure sustainable employment and reduce the likelihood of their re-offending
